Thrive Mobility – Warranty Policy

At Thrive Mobility, we stand behind the quality of our products. All warranties are provided directly by the manufacturer of the product, and Thrive Mobility follows the manufacturer’s warranty process to ensure your claim is handled quickly and fairly.

1. Warranty Process

If you believe your product is faulty:

1. Please first check the troubleshooting steps provided in the Product Manual.

2. If the issue persists, contact Thrive Mobility.

3. Do not return any goods without receiving confirmation from Thrive Mobility.

To assist with your warranty claim, you may be asked to provide (at your own expense):

- A completed Warranty Repairs Form with all required details

- Proof of purchase (receipt or verifiable transaction record)

- Battery load test results from an authorised battery centre (where applicable)

- Photos or videos showing the product fault or damage

2. Warranty Coverage

- The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.

- If your product fault is deemed to be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, replacement parts will be supplied as per the manufacturer’s coverage.

- Please note: labour, service, and shipping costs related to part replacement or repairs are not included unless specifically covered by the manufacturer.

Batteries & Chargers

- Batteries and chargers are covered by a 6-month warranty, with a maximum of one replacement during the initial warranty period.

- Battery and charger lifespan varies significantly based on use, load, travel distances, and terrain.

3. Servicing Requirement

Warranty claims are subject to the scooter (or applicable product) having a full service completed approximately 12 months after the purchase date at a service centre authorised by the manufacturer.

- It is the customer’s responsibility to organise and pay for this service.

- If the service is not completed, the manufacturer may deem the warranty void.

4. Exclusions (Not Covered by Warranty)

The following are not covered under manufacturer warranty:

- Misuse, negligence, accidents, water damage, improper maintenance, or commercial use

- Normal wear and tear, including:

     - Tyres, tubes, upholstery, armrest pads, plastic shrouds

     - Bulbs, fuses, motor brushes

     - General tightening of nuts and accessories

- Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications

All claims are assessed individually by the manufacturer, who has the final decision on whether a fault is covered under warranty.

5. Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Your ACL rights cannot be excluded, and you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if goods are faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described.
